Glad to see the solo has now been replaced by the core duo for the Mac Mini. Maybe I can get one now for my daughter

who the hell chargers

£399.01 whats with the .01 lol

oh well now i am gonna get it :D hee hee

Zim

p.s i knew it was worth the wait

Ughh STILL with a Combo Drive.. and NO option to upgrade to the Superdrive on the £399 Mini anymore.

I don't get this. The Mac rumour mill was actually right? Does this mean we actually are going to be getting coloured metal nanos next week?

The most interesting thing seems to be that the prices of the iMac 17" and 20" have gone down, while the specs have gone up. Let's hope something similar happens to the Macbook. Too bad the mini prices have remained the same.

Either that or the world is ending.

Let's hope for the Nanos.

All the employees they suspected of leaking info were probably given a different number for the size of the iMac.

Whoever was given "23" is fired.

;)

I think THEY think the Mini's price point is perfect as is. Kind of a shame, though, it'd be great to have a $400 box to buy for my folks.

I know what you mean  although it means Apple gets another £1 for every 100 iMacs they sell. Look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves :D

this is great news! and by great news i mean, it's great news because they updated the iMac without a press conference. this leaves more chance for the mbp to be updated with bigger and better things next week!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I second that.

Same here. Unless the MBP comes out sooner and has a user-replaceable hd (or a "cheap" 160GB option).

The Mac Mini 1.83 (CoreDuo) with 160GB HDD and Superdrive is £723.

The iMac 1.83 (Core2Duo) with 160GB HDD and Combo Drive is £679!!

Hmmmmmm, makes for interesting purchasing decisions!

Well thank goodness the Solo mini has gone, but it still has that f****** Combo Drive in it lol. The 1.8 Mini doesnt look like much of an upgrade, just a very small speed bump for the same price.
