Check to see whether it is Safari. On my Mac Studio I have had unexpected Safari slowdown. Killing the app, clearing cache etc etc does not change anything. Pages just stop loading. Logging out does not cure it, either. Rebooting does.
Firefox and Google Chrome are fine.

My other systems (MacBooks Pro Intel and Mq, older Air, M1 Air) do not have the issue with Safari running the same versions of Monterey. I have filed a bug.

It turns out it was my Apple Studio Display speakers. Called Apple Support and had to unplug the ASD so it would force reboot.

You really think that Apple, the company that literally pioneered the use of WiFi for consumers, that has created hundreds of devices with radios and antenna built in, just like, tossed a whip inside that metal box without thinking about it at all? Really? You don't think they designed it so it'll get good signal strength? You think the company clever enough to disguise a light as though it shines through aluminum can't manage the same for the antenna, placing it well or giving it egress through or around the metal enclosure?
They couldn’t for the Mini…
