Sounds like a good result, eh?

You didn't say if you tried the RCDefault.app this time.

Can't say about that bobsled extension, but maybe you can find it with a spotlight search, or you could try the find command in the terminal.

I found it and trashed it. No I have not tried that app. What does it do again?

If you follow the link to the site for that app, you would then see detailed notes about RCDefault.
Briefly - it provides a means to set the default app for a variety of situations.
And, it is a good app to have if you need to change the default apps for one reason or another - or because you simply want to change the default app, even if you have no good reason.
It will take care of THAT problem, so you can get back to the important stuff.
