“Unable to Check for Update” - PB3

There are several threads about being unable to update apps or upgrade beta version, be good if a moderator could merge as they all have solutions in them.

If the threads are merged, a better subject line needs to be used- I would never have looked in this thread as the title doesn't reflect my problem. My iPad does check and sees the update, and occasionally even starts the download.

...and the backup/update/restore process worked for me.
