yes ive just now read a thread elsewhewre when a guy finds his last screw threaded using a hex key only to realise one of the screws was a torx, they replied to them saying it must be a refurb as someone must've swapped it, but the person said it was 2 owners but the prev wouldve had no inclination to meddle with the cpu - so they all agreed it 'couldve' been apple
EDIT, ok looks like you did get it out in the end, hope my thoughts dont confuse anyone but for sure there is a thread out there where the guy finds a hex in there.
