but life is full of choices!True, these so called "hackers" are just not that. Anyways, if you're going pre-paid you've got some options. Get a $100 card and it'll last you a year. You can get unlimited txt (txt, pix, videos) for $19.99/month even though t-mobile offers the same for $15/month. 100mb data is $19.99/month. It's not alot, but it beats waiting around for an unlock. I usually have wifi everywhere I go so I just went with the pre-paid minutes for .10 a minute and got the unlimited txt for $19.99 a month and just use wifi wherever I go. Works good and no waiting around for an unlock plus if you were to use on t-mobile, you'd have to configure the settings correctly to receive pictures/videos. I'm using an iPhone 4 by the way on iOS 4.1
I mainly want an unlock for the increased resale value and so I can use a local SIM card in my iPhone when I'm overseas. If you dont live in the US then you can purchase a factory unlocked iphone and not have to worry about unlocks, basebands, shsh blobs, tethered jailbreaks etc..
