With everyone updating their iPhones, Touches, iPads, updated IOS apps, Apple TVs, Macs and Mac Apps, and launching iCloud it's not surprising. Now sure how wise it was to release everything all at once, but I guess they are too interdependent.

Why is it taking so long? Mine has 6 hours remaining... Unacceptable.

tip!

mine started at 4 hours , cancel and restart whenever the connection slows down it picks up where it left off got mine in 39 minutes , think I cancelled and restarted 4 times .

Wow I'm surprised at the times you guys are reporting. Mine said 2 hours, and 2 hours was all it took. Enjoying iOS 5 on my 3GS. Can't wait for my 4S to arrive on Friday!

What pisses me off is when Apple has a server error and it wants you to try again later. Ok, then don't go thru that damm backup process... just start where you left off. :mad:

Going on 6 hours trying to update an iPad...

i was 95% complete it timed out now it says 19hrs

my phone is currently bricked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

i just found if it is d/ling really slow cancelling and restarting your computer helps drastically

ZOMG ITS LIKE BETTER THAN SLICED BREAD AND SEX COMBINED. No really just wait..its a pain in the ass but when like 6 trillion people all want the same thing its not easy...

at this rate, with

2 iphones
2 ipads
1 ipod touch
1 mac
1 apple tv

I should just call in sick for the rest of the week to get this all done.

And ive got very fast cable internet. Not acceptable Apple

How are some of these download times even possible? I had to download twice 2 hours after it was released and each time took 12 minutes.
