I use only sine wave UPSs for this kind of equipment. It's pretty easy to get 2 of them and then split up usage of the display, and everything else (hubs, speakers, whatever) on one UPS and the computer just itself with another 1500va unit.
I like the CyberPower sine wave UPS as found here:
CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System, 1500VA/1000W, 12 Outlets, AVR, Mini Tower,Black
A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD provides battery backup (using sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems requiring active PFC power source compatibility. ...www.amazon.com
Once a year they go on sale for around 119-120... The rest of the year they go for 200+
They work natively with macOS. Just plug them in. No drivers. The power System Prefs picks it right up.
AFAIK, there has not been any third party software for controlling a UPS on a Mac in quite some time. They are simply not needed. The MacOS has sufficient controls to control any UPS IMHO.Does it still do so in Big Sur? Can you post what your UPS options show? and are you relying upon that vendors software?
I have a Cyberpower CP1500PCFLCD UPS and whilst it shows UPS in the Battery tab and shows me the battery charge there are no Shutdown options whatsoever.
So there is no shutdown option button in Big Sur....?
Have you connected the Data Cable?
See my Post above.

Yes in so far as that is telling me the charge of the battery. But that’s all it shows.Have you connected the Data Cable?
