I had 2 successful pre-orders both set for 9/24 delivery. Turns out I didn't need the 2nd one so I cancelled it in the app a couple hours ago.

So whoever had an order for a Pro Sierra Blue 256GB with delivery after 9/24 but gets bumped up to the 24th, you are very welcome :D
How did you cancel. I have an extra order for pickup on the 25 that I now don’t need but I don’t see the ability to cancel

Order status just went to Processing. I guess I won‘t see any movement until I get that email saying “Ready to Pickup” :D
This is going to be the hardest thing… first time for me doing in-store pickup and I didn’t even think about the fact that I wouldn’t be able to track it! Waiting for all of the status changes, figuring out your tracking number, obsessing about why it hasn’t left China yet… that’s half the fun of the pre-order!! 😂😂

How off are the amounts? If it’s just a small amount like a couple bucks and cents it’s likely just due to sales tax. Orders when initially placed pull the generally applied sales tax amount based on the location but when order is finalized and money actually charged, it corrects the sales tax based on a refined lookup since there could be additional municipality taxes etc. It’s always happened with my orders and I live in Southern California. The larger purchase amount, the greater the final tax disparity when it’s finalized.
It’s off by hundreds of dollars. Was trying to figure out if they charged some weird combo of different orders (I had 1 order containing 2 iPad Minis, 1 containing my 13 Pro and 1 containing my wife’s 13 Mini), but it still doesn’t add up. Very weird.

Yep, been refreshing every few minutes. I think I have a problem, actually 🤣
I actually refrained all day from "refresh abuse." 😆
"Preparing to ship"

I've seen this movie before though...it will sit in this status until late Wed. early Thurs....Then "Shipped".
This is when my madness begins.

....actually when I do find a UPS tracking number, (using "reference" around Mon, Tues?)...then I start the refresh every 20-30min abuse..LOL

What I do tend to look at every time at pre-order season is weather!
The weather in Alaska, East coast also.

Ahhh I figured it out. They charged the total of my phone plus my wife’s MINUS the value of our trade-ins (even though we paid in full instead of doing the monthly payments which is supposed to be the only way to get the credit up front). Whew, I feel better now lol
