My phone is moving but the device I really want in my hands is the new iPad mini which no longer has a delivery date.

Ordered two PM 128 SB within first 10 minutes of orders, both with 9/24 delivery dates. The first one moved to preparing to ship within a few hours that day. The second one is still stuck at order processing, but still showing 9/24 delivery. Definitely need them both to be delivered same day! Anyone else still showing order processing for a 9/24 delivery?

Most of them should have moved to PTS yesterday. I'm surprised the other one is still Processing. Does your card show two pending charges?

Ten per box!

I wonder how many total phones can fit onto a 747-8F?
It has a max payload of 132,600kg, so based on a rough estimate of 500g per box for the pro max, it would cap out at about 265,000 iphones. Those iphones would take up roughly 133 m³ of space, based on 17.7cm x 9.5cm x 3cm (12PM box dimensions), far short of the 873 m³ the 747-8 can actually hold. So it will be interesting to see how they fill it up!

What I do tend to look at every time at pre-order season is weather!
The weather in Alaska, East coast also.

Ugh, as I feared. Thurs night, Fri. morning - the NE, down into VA, TN may have some real lousy weather , lot of rain (again!)

Hope flights are not delayed, drivers not affected. 😞 Well, at least no hurricanes or tornadoes...the weather around here the past 3 months has been beyond manic.

From now on when my students ask me how they’ll use math in real life I am going to tell them that they’ll be able to calculate how many iPhones can fit on a 747-8 to help track their preorders all the way from China. I love it!! 🤣

This is an amazing comment! Haha good job.

I’m already on iOS 15 🥺😂🤦‍♂️😐

Tim Apple if you’re 👀 it’s time to start having the event, preorders and launch all in the one week, this waiting isn’t good for our health. 🙄🤦‍♂️😂
Lol you calling him Tim Apple. It’s so funny.

Someone needs to email this thread to Tim Cook to show how excited we are. I’m sure he knows about it and Apple is monitoring this thread as well.
