Given our current global scourge of misinformation on the internet, this really isn’t a good look. Can we stick to only saying things are facts with supporting evidence and if it’s your hunch or “you know a guy” just don’t or at least say you are guessing.

Yeah, basically they shuttered Cathay Dragon, which we had a whole series of flights with, which canceled half our trip (and therefore the whole plan). 🤷🏻‍♂️

No, it’s not. I understand and appreciate the nature of these threads. It’s fun to track flights and wonder which flights your phone might be on and find “seat buddies”. I’m trying to not put anyone on blast so generalizing but there is a lot more things being said in this thread that are this WILL happen or X, Y, Z is next. Then already those things have proven to be false in retrospect.

The gravity of the information here is trivial and without real impact but this type of misinformation is the exact same vector causing so many problems with misinformation involving matters of life and death at the moment. Don’t say something is for sure if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Say you’re guessing at least.

Oh come now, you know you are talking about specific people here. Try PMing them directly.
