Is your phone in the country yet, through customs? I think you can't set that until it is.

Even after it arrives and import scan, there is no option on their app or website. I ordered something from apple recently, which was shipped from the warehouse in Tennessee and didnt have the option for UPS CC. Only way is email or phone call.

So I just want to say this. I absolutely LOVE all the frantic excitement and constant checking for flights, tracking updates and all. I’m in store pick up, so I’m still enjoying my snacks till Friday(Apple took money from me 😉), but I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY ❤️

Expecting and waiting for the departing flights to show from going away from CGO. It will be interesting to find out which plane we are going to be on. I hope we all leave China behind today.

Nothing yet. My best speculation is that maybe UPS will send in another plane in the next 12 hours to CGO. If trends continue from the last two days, another one may depart for Korea in the next 12-15 hours. Of course I have no evidence to back this all up. It's all a guess based on trends.

Yes, and that's fine, but some people are calling Apple, UPS, etc, when there isnl't a thing they can do about anything. It's getting a little ridiculous. It will arrive on time for 99.999 percent.

Agreed no one should be bothering the poor UPS and Apple reps, who likely know as much as we do, about the device shipping times, dates, etc. Hype is great, but patience and understanding (from all of us re: reps) is great, too.

OMG!! I FINALLY caught back up on this thread! Some phones are already in Kentucky? Wow! Happy to see the movement is happening early this year! More movement is coming TODAY for those of you still in China! Some phones like to take their time, take a few pictures for the 'Gram - that new camera is getting good use! - and collect souvenirs. It will make it still by the 24th!

Typically when does Apple push a “shipped“ notification and issue a tracking number? When it arrives in Alaska? I‘m having mine sent to my business and can’t use MyChoice.

I think when it clears customs in Anchorage, you will get the shipped notification from Apple and the tracking number. Have you tried https://www.villagedrapes.com/html/tracking.html to see if there's any activity? You can use your Apple order number minus the last digit. Here's mine for example:

Also, if I had an initial delivery date of 9/24, ordered early morning during preorder, and then it changed to 10/2, 10/3, etc, then Id be calling Apple too and trying to determine why. If they want to call 100 times per day then they are free to do so and doesn't negatively affect me or anyone else. If it can give them a little piece of mind, good for them!

My mini says Express Delivery, the phone says Standard Delivery. I assumed the mini was sitting in the US somewhere already as none of my tracking apps have any sign of it unlike the phone which is in my UPS app. It would be nice if FedEx delivered the mini because they deliver here during the day, I already know the phone will arrive at night and I won’t bother with it until the iPad is all set up anyway.

Most likely will see the tracking update on Thursday. It's already sitting in the US like you stated.

That’s what I would do but CC here in Sylmar is only open 10-2. I guess I’m just leaving it alone personally.I’ll just wait now for it. World Ease comes earlier for me.

Good point! Apple may have changed the shipping carrier this year. Last year CARGO-LUX was responsible for bringing out all the phones into the the U.S. (Apple may have used them because of COVID 19) (Corona-virus).

This year is definitely different. I have a feeling it might be UPS. Anything could happen. Anything is possible at this point.

I'm working on making my internal connections to the UPS Aviation Department already. 😈

Just to piggy back... Yes, Import Scans are next for the KY people which will happen on Thursday. Next up will be a Destination Scan as well.
