For those who are wondering what flight you will be on out of Louisville...

You can expect to be on the early morning one Friday morning. Most UPS flights run daily M-F. You can look at the one for today and it will likely be the same time for Friday. For those in logistically difficult areas, let me know and I'll try to do some sleuthing. Some of those may go out Thursday afternoon/evening to the destination city. I'll be around for the next 3 hours or so.
I'd like to know about Maui. I assume I have to go through Honolulu first. At the time of my order Apple was saying I'd get it on the 27th, but for the past couple days UPS tracking has said Friday. 😄

So. How many here have a delivery between Oct 18 through the 25?

Think it will be around those dates or what is the possible potential for it to be earlier? I’ve done preorders before. And they have the potential to show up early.
I think a lot of those orders will be bumped up to earlier dates if past experience is any indication.

Yea.. I’d steer clear of Pat’s a while. 😳 But agreed, you can’t go wrong with Jim’s on South.

And PTS here as well.
Yea, not good, and the publicity can’t be good for Pat’s or Gino’s. I mean they have been a long time staple in Philly. I don’t really care for their food, but do know that both are pretty popular.

While we’re waiting on our orders, I’ll ask this here…

In the past, I’ve turned in my old phone at the Apple Store when I picked up my new phone on the iup. This year I have to ship the old phone in the return box because the new phone is being shipped to my house.

What if the company that processes the return of the old phone says it’s unacceptable for some reason, sends my old phone back to me, and they’ve made their decision after my 14 day return period? Am I stuck paying for two iPhones?

I’ve read some nightmare stories from a few about dealing with these IUP returns.
For what it’s worth, I’ve returned every IUP phone through the mail since the program began. I’ve never had any issue whatsoever.

I’m in Korea! Next stop Anchorage, I think!

Has anyone from the 12:12am Anchorage departure flight had any update since?
It still says Departed from Anchorage. But I know that it has landed in Louisville, KY. They just didn't scan it but we'll see some movement tomorrow. Mine was like this last year. It sat through the status as Departed from Anchorage and was like that till Thursday then got the Import scan.

I am planning to keep my iPhone 12 PM. Before I made my mind to pay off the loan the loan went on hold. Would take another shot when I get the new device and I would call Apple / Citizen one again

I’ve done IUP several times and never had an issue with the return. I have also done Apple trade-ins outside of IUP, and again, no issues. The IUP trade-ins seemed to get handled particularly quickly in comparison to the non-IUP ones. I had one get completed the day after I shipped it.

On an IUP side note, I’ve also had an extra payment made to IUP based on when my payment was due vs phone arrival. It got taken care of without any intervention on my part.

I googled Pat’s king of steaks and yikes. Definitely steer clear of both for the near future. Not good!

Me too! I have an ESR protector currently on my iPhone 12 Pro and I never had to replace it in the past year. I drop my iPhone a lot too. The screen protector hasn't cracked at all.
Several folks in this thread have recommended ESR screen protectors. Do the edges on these have the 2.5D/curve/bevel to make swiping from the sides and bottom more pleasant? Their description on Amazon doesn't seem to mention anything.

I wondered about that, too. I had two payments left on my iup which were charged to my account when I preordered on 9/17. Also, on that day, Citizens One processed a payment, so I got dinged an extra payment. I’ll keep an eye on the final charge/posting. Thank you.
