sadly, very true. The porch pirates will literally be following delivery trucks tomorrow. I think a lot of drivers watch for this, but they are so busy there is not much they can do and law enforcement cannot watch for much of it either. Bad guys know there is almost no chance of getting caught, and even if they ar caught, in many areas it is no more than a slap on the wrist. 😢😡😢😡
Makes sense. There was still launch date pickup at the closest store (which is still around an hour from me). So I was hoping I could get one. I’d love a whole documentary about their launch day logistics.

Apple did the same for me! I tracked it from the link in the shipping notification and it is coming from Carlisle. PA. So it was some local stock.
If they put in the request in, I would not worry too much about it. It's when it's at the destination scan, they will see that the request was made and hold it for you to pick it up.

Yeah, I got the UPS email that says by 7PM as well. I have gotten UPS as late as 9:30PM in the past so that's better at least. I will say the last few years my iPhones have been here by early afternoon (2ish). Hoping for the same tomorrow. Of course, every big vehicle on earth will drive by my house all day so I'm constantly jumping up outta my office chair and running to the window.
I just talked to my closest UPS store, to ship an empty envelope to my house overnight was $50. A bit steep.
