The moment I unbox my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I always put my phone on DFU mode and re-install iOS and then transfer the back ups.

ordered some random stuff and accessories from Best Buy, thankfully at least on package arriving tomorrow. Set a confirmed 2 hour window sad early as it would let me so that should get UPS to my place early in the day.

You could try track by reference. But if you have UPS Mychoice. It should automatically pop up there once the shipping label is created and that the shipping address matches the address you have on file on UPS.

I got my import scan at 7:57 AM. My iPad 9 must be coming from an Apple Store. I just got shipping details today from Apple. It is coming UPS and UPS doesn't have the tracking information yet; it is also due tomorrow.

It was great traveling together with everyone. Today we go our separate ways to thousands of destinations. Everyone enjoy your new hardware tomorrow!

quick question for those backing up for tomorrow's new iphone....

I typically do all my backups local to my itunes/music, as I only have the basic icloud storage (5gb). Does anyone know if I'll have any issues with losing data when I restore it on to my iPhone 13 (as I am trading in the phone where all the data was created)? I'm particularly concerned about my Whatsapp message history.....

You're talking about 2 different things: there's the iPhone backup, which can be either on the cloud or on your computer, previously handled by iTunes, now its on finder, I think, when you plug you iPhone. I don't think this will back up your WhatsApp history. I recently had to restore my iPhone from backup, and I lost my WhatsApp history.
The iPhone backup mainly backs up how you phone screens are layed out, and configurations and whatever else is selected on the finder/iTunes backup window when you plug your iPhone.

the other thing is the WhatsApp backup: you can turn it on in the WhatsApp settings. it will only back up on iCloud. If you have your WhatsApp backed up on the cloud, you can restore your chat history when you first start WhatsApp on the new phone. For me this didn't work. I don't know why. I think its because I had an iPhone X and was restoring to an iPhone 7 maybe? I don't know. it should work in general.

My tracking says I will get my 13 Pro Max by 7:00pm Friday. Really excited for this. It looks like Apple may have removed the PWM on the 13 Pro/Pro Max and iOS 15 may have resolved the yellow screen issue. First impression is that this is a great year for iPhones.
