Just departed Louisville. Trucking me to St. Louis. Thanks for all the good times everyone!!!
I'll be waiting for my little UPS truck tomorrow afternoon. 😁

I think it’ll leave at some point can’t imagine canceled flights, would be tons of upset people. I really hope it comes Friday and not Sat since there’s a football game for a family members I want to record with the new phone. Good luck to everyone in NY areas!
If it's not safe to fly, they won't fly. I'm a lot more concerned about the safety of the pilots than my delivery running late. Unfortunately, if tomorrow's delivery doesn't happen (and it's looking very likely that it won't), the next scheduled delivery will be on Monday, as UPS only makes Saturday deliveries when the sender prepays for this service. Fortunately, there's an Apple store 10 minutes away from me. If worst comes to worst, I'll try my luck there.

Hope so but I am figuring the KC shipment will be the one leaving at 4:26am tonight, I did not see any other KC flights today since early morning. Both of ours may be on that next flight.
Typically the KC phones travel that leg by truck. That has always been my experience before heading south for another 3 hour drive.

Well that's what I thought at first but UPS says "Departed" so I assume (ass-u-me) that means if left the airport - but it could just mean it left the building and is in the hold of a plane which is still sat on the runway.
That’s all it says as of now

Good news is they haven’t cancelled anything only delays so far and planes can in most cases fly over storms or around them if able I’m not overly worried but would be nice to see it tomorrow.

Nope. JFK/EWR are now holding all inbound flights at origin until 5:45 PM. Had I known this was going to happen, I'd have opted for store pickup. Oh well, not the end of the world. Worst comes to worst, if deliveries get pushed back to Monday, I'll start checking local Apple stores for availability. It'll be just like the preorder morning all over again!
I wish I knew this as well. Hopefully they will take off. I am not that far from both of those airports. It's coming to my office in CT, a litte farther, but only 2 hours tops. If they arrive by midnight, I should still get delivery tomorrow.

They’ll probably try to figure out a way to get it to you tomorrow. It might be late tomorrow night but don’t be surprised if you still get it tomorrow. Good luck to you.
It's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen. Since this is a highly populated area, I'm sure a lot of people preordered iPhones and getting them to everyone on the same day after severe weather delays would be a logistical nightmare for UPS. I should have opted for store pickup, but hindsight is always 20/20.
