Do you plan on ordering the new iPhone 13 (2021) this September?

As I’m waiting in line, one of the Apple reps apologizes for the delay with an interesting fact..that the screen protectors they install for you are not up to Apple’s standards so they will not do that process until green lighted from higher up. You can still purchase in store however.

I generally purchase from Amazon but thought helpful for anyone planning to have one installed at their local Apple Store.

Pre-order line is like 30 people, Walk-In line has five people.
 
When is this available on UPS?
I recall this option starts popping up around 11, 11:30am (ET). Little GPS map of the truck. But what makes me nuts is when I see it literally around my block...then it drives off 3-4 miles away to another location.


Quite a lot of businesses, large mall, shopping centers that have a higher priority.
 
I could just cry! My phone arrived at the local facility an hour away at 10:05 pm last night. At 4 am I received a rescheduled delivery date for Monday.

My brother’s phone was on the exact same journey and his left the facility, while mine was delayed and rescheduled. How does that even happen?

I tried to have it held at cc but it’s not one of the options for locations. Does anyone know why that could be? I would just go pick it up there but I can’t put a hold on it.

Mine is out for delivery!!! Now comes the anticipation. In the meantime, I am doing some cleanup on my iPhone 6S+ to prepare it for iPhone to iPhone transfer. Will need to setup the iPhone 13 as new, do a software update, erase all contents, setup using iPhone to iPhone transfer.

The one and only time I purchased a screen protector and install from Apple was my XS Max and it lasted 4 weeks before it cracked after putting my phone face down on a desk! Got it replaced for free but that one also cracked super easy about 3 months later after which I went ESR from Amazon and it lasted until I swapped out the device for my 12PM

Heading to the Apple Store in 20 minutes or so and waiting in line the old-school way. Apple hasn't updated their in-store inventory online yet and I'm hoping to god they have the 13 Pro Max model I want in stock...

I didn’t have the option either but if you chat through the app ask for live chat with the bot and they’ll process the pickup there. I did it yesterday afternoon. Maybe since yours is not already on the truck they can still do it today?

You must’ve hit them with that professional voice? Lol They always told me I had to wait for their system to update . Crazy

call them using this number 18007827892. it’s the international shipping division. she was able to put in a delivery and hold request for today. best wishes to you.

I guess it's because we officially aren't out for delivery?

I have a "Loaded on Delivery Vehicle" @ 4:56AM. The website estimates it'll be delivered between 11:45am - 2:30pm.
Mine changed from ”Out for Delivery” to Processing at UPS Facility. Weird! Got all excited, now more waiting!!
