Of all days... of all deliveries... they had to botch this one!
Everything was going as planned last night before I went to bed. Then this morning I woke to find that my phone was mis-sorted and that the delivery would therefore be delayed until the 27th (estimated).
I got pissed and made my way to the Apple store to see if, by chance, they had available a Graphite Pro with 512GB. Nope. They had all the other colors in that capacity, but not the one I wanted. As I walked away, disgusted, I thought to myself, "you're just going to put it in a case, so what difference does the color make?" So I turned around and told the Apple Store employee that I'd take a Sierra Blue 512. He reserved it in the system and told me that I'd have to come back in five hours to pick it up. They had it in stock-- but I had to come back. Go figure.
When I got home I saw the postal carrier filling my box with a package. It turned out to be my Pitaka MagEX case. Bittersweet.

Heh. I might get my phone today. I went to my local hub this morning at around 10:30 and they told me they only got the hold request at 8:16 this morning. They took my tracking number, phone number, and name and said they'd check on its status throughout the day. I can also go back personally between 3 and 9 today.

Sooo, trade in box arriving in one truck. iPad Mini arriving at a different time in another truck. iPhone 13 PM still processing so it might be on a third truck. All from the same UPS facility. Crazy, I say 🤣🤣🤣

I'm afraid to be away from the front of my house just to make food or go to the bathroom for long in case I miss the delivery and get porch swiped.
I guess I'm entering the paranoid stage of this process.
