I was thinking about ordering one just to have it as spare- I think I would get either a iPhone 13 Pro Max with 256 GB in either Sierra Blue or Graphite - But decide not to order one since I can't decide on a color- Currently I have the Graphite iPhone 12 Pro Max in the 256 GB

Pretty smart to do this pre-order thing. The system processes eleventybillion orders over whatever, 24hrs, instead of 24 seconds lol, then only needs to handle a completion step at actual order time.

Sometimes they get delivered early for online purchases.

I think that there are still restrictions at my local store. Last time I went in I had to schedule and I'm just going to wait for delivery.

I’m going away that day in afternoon so I can’t chance it. I just didn’t know where the option was to do pick up in store and at what point in the check out

I had a nightmare where I was 3 minutes late to the pre-order and somehow it was so complicated on the app. I remember trying to look up the actual model number to enter in the order because trying to search by iPhone 13 wasn't returning any results in the app. Then I woke up to my alarm. 😅 Good luck friends!!!

Those would be the colors I would go for it when ever I decide to buy one of the 13 Pro- and I again I would either go with 256 or 512 GB - I'm not sure if what color I would get if the just got the 13
