I'm having an issue with my order. I preordered on launch day and checked out of my pre preorder about 30 min after launch and was given an October 9th for my 1tb pro max. I got the tracking number for it and seem to have cleared customs but be stuck in China. Yesterday, I logged into my apple account and it shows the phone being delivered on September 28th. (It wasn't). This morning, I go back in and now it says the estimated delivery date of the 11th. UPS is still showing no movement.
My wife's phone is having the same issue. Was supposed to be delivered today, UPS says its still in China. Shipped on the 27th.

I am getting phenomenal battery use from 6 am to nearly 10 pm. Battery time was better after couple days although still good my first day when phones always are doing extra for first 24 hours after transfer from my 12 ProMax.
Looks good except facebook being your #1 app use. You got to delete that junk for SO many reasons! Quit Facebook about a year ago and it’s easily the best tech decision I’ve ever made.

For my iPhone 11 Pro 64g, I am receiving $450.00 trade in value from Apple. Applied to my Apple Card, I am financing $749 interest free the 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue 256g. I thought that was a great deal for the two year old phone and no interest. Glad to learn about other options. I usually keep my phones for two years but now I may consider upgrading next year if the specs warrant it.

I ordered a 13 mini on launch and canceled it three times with Apple but it still arrived while we were away. I canceled it because I received a $300 off offer from my carrier on any upgrade. So I returned it to the Apple Store in the original mailer. They gave me a credit which has since hit my credit card. I drove over to my carrier's store and bought the 13 mini in black and they installed a new SIM. They are offering $300 off of any new iPhone 13 so the phone is costing my $429 which I am very happy with.

I wish that my carrier had sent me notice of their promotion before the launch but perhaps Apple requires them to embargo these until after the launch. I almost always buy my phones at my carrier store as it allows me to look at all of the models (in case I change my mind at the last minute), and they install the SIM card and verify the transfer of phone service. I can do this myself but they can do it quicker.

My iPhone 13 Pro 128gb delivery date slipped a day to Friday, but it’s still in China (UPS says it has cleared customs but to check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date 🤷‍♂️)

I received my device on release day via in-store pickup without a hitch. I selected the trade-in kit by mail option (which was the only as there was no trade-in in store option). I saw other forum members had received theirs before their phone arrived, same day or a little after. My kit was yet to be seen.

Fast forward to today, I still never received my trade in kit and didn’t want to be charged by for keeping my device after saying I would trade it in. I checked the tracking as it recommended in the app, and apparently it was in my city on the 28th with no UPS updates after that.

Fast forward a few minutes ago, I walk into my local Apple Store and trade it in without a hitch. Almost too easy. I wonder why they prefer mail in trade ins as opposed to in-store? To be fair, the Apple rep that was helping did say sometimes they’re particular about trade ins if you say you’re going to mail it i. It almost felt like a generic response compared to how easy it was.

I guess I’ll keep my eye on my AT&T bill to make sure I receive my credits and offer that was agreed to in the coming months.

Anyone from the Apple Card Pre-Order Glitch: Have you seen a "Balance Adjustment" in the form of a credit show up on your Apple Card?

I just received +$5.25 as a Balance Adjustment that posted at 0951 PDT, 10/05. This works out to be 3% of $175...and that total works out to be my tax on a 13PM 256GB ($113.91) + 3% of my IUP first months payment (3% of $61.16). Yes, it's a little more by about $.20 - but it's pretty dang close.

The transaction isn't tied to any others that I can tell. It is odd that the credit didn't go on my Apple Cash Card, but maybe Apple doesn't have a linkage to the Cash Card (Debit) vs our Apple Cards.

Just adding to the collective to see any similar experiences of late. Dunno if I should call Apple GS about it or not. Not like those other folks are gonna return that crypto currency, right? Cheers!

Yup, it’s tied to the pre-order issues. I got a balance adjustment as well, along with the following email from Apple…

“You successfully completed your iPhone pre-order with a payment method other than Apple Card. We understand that your initial purchase attempt with Apple Card was declined and you didn’t earn 3% Daily Cash.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and want to make it up to you. We are providing you a credit for the Daily Cash on the initial payment of your iPhone 13. You’ll see this appear as a Balance Adjustment in the Wallet app. This will also appear on your October monthly statement.

If you would like to continue earning Daily Cash back on future iPhone payments with your Apple Card, please visit citizensoneloan.com to update your payment method.

If you have any questions, contact an Apple Card Specialist.”

Very cool. After reading your reply, I just checked. Got the same e-mail at 1624PDT. Pretty good that they really lived up to their promise to make it right. I mean, in the end, I wasn't sweating the 3% cash back - it was really more about not realizing the glitch was happening and switching CCs to still get a launch day phone. Hope you're enjoying your new phone, too!

I’m loving it! The camera and screen upgrades are awesome.

Was thinking of maybe upgrading my 12 PM to the 13 PM, I'm on T-Mobile, and looking earlier yesterday or day before online, could've sworn it showed fast delivery and in-stock, like Oct. 7th - 9th delivery.

Now I just checked this morning, and it states November delivery. WTF?

It actually said 2-5 Oct so I ordered a SB 128 GB 13 PM. Order date shifted to 8-12 Oct.

An ambitious estimate for delivery, but ok. I'll take it!!

Original Estimate: Oct 18 - Oct 25.
First Bump: Oct 12.
Currently: Oct 7.

Well while I did not make the opening day this year even with completion of my order by 6 past hour, I was in the 10/6 to 10/11 crew my phone made it on 9/30 but enjoyed the thread this year. My trade in was completed today on my 12 ProMax so that is also done and now i can enjoy the 1TB 13 ProMax for a year. Will have to see what the 14 brings next year because for me the 13 included things I wanted and it might get even harder to justify the 14. (Notch not a big deal, lack of fingerprint security not big deal. My oily fingers found that failed a lot). The 13 included things I had hoped for in the 12 and beyond. I wrote this summary of (for me) the features that I am loving on my 13 ProMax on the 10/6-10/11 thread group, and why I traded again on IUP. Hope you are all enjoying your 13’s as much as I am:

“we shall see what the 14 offers next year ;-). Lots of things I wanted in my 13 ProMax 1) I now have the 1TB option I had hoped for in my 12 ProMax giving me much more storage for my photography. 2) The macro lens which saves me the hassle of pulling out my adaptor for the macro to fit my current DSLR. 3) For me a much improved camera for day to day photography on the go. 4) As I hoped in my case— a better 5G modem from Qualcomm that is doing better in the weak cell signal area around my house than last years 5G on my 12 ProMax (but a big improvement from the intel modem which did poorly in my yard). 5) even better night mode photography that I am loving. 6) Better zoom now at 3X and above a nice incremental increase for me and my camera. 7) The promotion screen is definitely and improvement (well at least nice evolution) for me and finally, 8) the battery life is a big improvement over my 12 ProMax which some days had me down to under 20% by mid afternoon, now I am at 75-80% when I put on charger in evening after dark.

So yes maybe smartphone’s are now matured, plateaued ect. But for the uses I put my iPhones through this is a series of important evolutionary improvements”

Today I finally got tracking info from UPS, and Verizon charged my debit card for the taxes and fees. I should receive my Sierra Blue 1tb 13 PM in a few days.😊

I'm looking forward to transitioning from android on my 512gb Note 10+ to ios on this phone. The $800 trade in promo from Verizon was too good to pass up.

Man. I’m stuck in china. I’m was hoping for the end of the week. But looks like Monday. Unless customs will hold it for the full 10 days and I’ll see it in the 18th

Well the average seems to be about half of 10 days. Interesting that UPS is now having this disclaimer in their scans. I guess they got tired of the obsessive Apple fans anxiously awaiting their new “precious”.
