I wouldnt want to spend extra on the accessories just to move to USB-C. I have plenty of lightning cables to use in the meantime.
The port under the magic mouse is inconvenient, but Ive honestly never had any issues with it. When I get the notification to tell me the battery is low, I still have plenty of time to end my session and put it on charge, and considering charging is quick, I can get back to using it quickly too. It hasn't hindered me at all TBH.
Maybe I can pick up a lightning Trackpad a bit cheaper if a new USB-C one is released....
