Haha! I love that term
... Not critical but I've enjoyed thinking of workaround scenarios even if we dont used it.
(how did you get the image out from there to forum? Would it not have been suspect by PoD?)
What about copy / export of that table as a .CSV / .TXT and then use the same way as the one for image.
Thinking aloud..
I emailed the pic to myself then just accessed my work email from the LTE iPad.
Attaching the raw data exported to TXT. Formulas wouldn't work on that so you can just generate the formulas yourself.
Yes, I remember reading about DropBox + Marvin on MobileRead forums. Even had some 1 on 1's with Kevin.
Any other ePub apps after Marvin/ Gerty that you liked?
Wasn't the developer's name Kris? Hyphen's the one I liked best after Marvin. Sadly, that's abandonware now, too.
I've got the 2017 Pro 12.9, Pro 10.5 and Air 3 that I can dedicate to Marvin and keep on older firmware in case some future firmware update completely breaks it. Fallback is probably going to be iBooks despite my hate for the page turn animations.
This is via WiFi/ LAN? or USB3? connection?
I'll look into it as I await ze iPad
WiFi.
CG MediaServer is pretty much just an HTTP server. Just point it to the folders you want shared and it'll dynamically create the pages for you. The nice thing is I can read comics stored directly on the server without needing to download first to the iPad (although I think that feature was an in-app purchase).
As mentioned, I've got 2TB manga on there that I can effectively "stream" from PC to iPad and it's just as fast as internal storage when on WLAN.
I have port forwarding setup on the router so I can access it when away from home but it's not always reliable (slow or non-existent cellular, home internet could go down, etc). Hence, I always like having large enough internal storage on the iPad to keep my favorite series plus reading list.
