Depends on your eyesight. Over 10 years ago, I used to read on the 3.5" OG iPhone with Stanza and I was already happy with that. Nowadays, I wouldn't want to read on the 6.1" iPhone.

I'm still perfectly fine with using the 9.7" iPads for PDF, though. I annotate letter-size PDFs side by side and 2x 9.7" iPads in portrait still offers more screen real estate than one 12.9" iPad in landscape.

My eyesight is really bad (glasses). I still use my SE to read in a pinch...literally, since it's so small!

It's on my work desktop and contains my employer information so I don't feel comfortable sharing it, sorry.

Oh! Your desktop or the file .. contains Employer info? -
You could copy-paste that Table / Chart info into any Excel file online that is not connected to your work account.
Is this chart table connected to Employer/ work - Cause it seems like public info.. but well organized :)

Anyways here's a blank file in my One Drive - Open for your edit/ copy paste (minus any work reference - if you could pop in the data without any risk to work. No pressure) If its no issue.

Thanks again for everything so far.

The CPU scores are public info taken from http://browser.geekbench.com/ (they use GB5 scores now) just rounded off to the nearest hundreds.

It's a simple Excel file but my employer info is embedded in the file's metadata. I made the spreadsheet on the work desktop during break time while checking the benchmark scores on my personal LTE iPad (lol for multi-window). We've got a firewall/proxy of doom so I avoid using work internet for anything non-work related.

Possibly. Hence, a copy paste via clipboard from that excel to the online web excel I shared would be sanitized of any data other than cells data - In fact, you could paste as text / format as destination and not even formatting would go across.

Just as the copy paste as image or screenshot of the chart you shared, this would also be sanitized of any work/ employer digitals.

Include 2017 in your search. Here's one of the first results I got searching for ipad pro 12.9 case 2017.
BTW - Found several thanks to you, but still results are not clean.. But I am wish-listing some.

Is there some old thread from 2017/18 where people discussed 12.9 Cases / Covers from back then? on this forum or others. Would like to go through that for peoples choices & experiences.

AND

Any Steps / How to to check for the Unresponsive Screen bugs mentioned above & in this thread?

One more Q:

Its possible to use the USB3 to transfer on & off large ePubs & PDFs etc? Into Non-Apple APPS as well.

Marvin is what I was used for ePubs.
Considering which one to finally used for PDFs now; quite a many.

Which apps are you using for your Comics etc?

I hope its not just Pics & Videos

Yes, I know it will be sanitized with copy/paste to an online spreadsheet.

As mentioned though, firewall/proxy of doom so I won't visit MacRumors forums nor your link via my work desktop.

Marvin can open files via Cloud picker. It's a pain to use, though. You'll need to copy ebooks one by one. I just use Dropbox so I can batch download. Using Calibre/OPDS server allows batch downloads, too. Of course, you'll need to have Calibre or HTTP+PHP server running on a computer.

Sadly, Marvin was last updated in 2017 and is pretty much abandonware, now. Can't really expect to see updates to add support for features added/enhanced in later firmware.

For comics, I use ComicGlass for DRM-free stuff and comiXology for Amazon Kindle/comiXology purchased comics. I just use the ComicGlass MediaServer (with 2TB manga collection) to download from my desktop to iPads/iPhones. There are lots of other ways to get comics into ComicGlass that I haven't explored since I'm already happy with my current method.

Haha! I love that term :D... Not critical but I've enjoyed thinking of workaround scenarios even if we dont used it.

(how did you get the image out from there to forum? Would it not have been suspect by PoD?)

What about copy / export of that table as a .CSV / .TXT and then use the same way as the one for image. :D Thinking aloud..

Yes, I remember reading about DropBox + Marvin on MobileRead forums. Even had some 1 on 1's with Kevin.
Any other ePub apps after Marvin/ Gerty that you liked?

I'll take your lead on that once I get the iPad on hand.

I emailed the pic to myself then just accessed my work email from the LTE iPad.

Attaching the raw data exported to TXT. Formulas wouldn't work on that so you can just generate the formulas yourself.

Wasn't the developer's name Kris? Hyphen's the one I liked best after Marvin. Sadly, that's abandonware now, too.

I've got the 2017 Pro 12.9, Pro 10.5 and Air 3 that I can dedicate to Marvin and keep on older firmware in case some future firmware update completely breaks it. Fallback is probably going to be iBooks despite my hate for the page turn animations.

WiFi.

CG MediaServer is pretty much just an HTTP server. Just point it to the folders you want shared and it'll dynamically create the pages for you. The nice thing is I can read comics stored directly on the server without needing to download first to the iPad (although I think that feature was an in-app purchase).

As mentioned, I've got 2TB manga on there that I can effectively "stream" from PC to iPad and it's just as fast as internal storage when on WLAN.

I have port forwarding setup on the router so I can access it when away from home but it's not always reliable (slow or non-existent cellular, home internet could go down, etc). Hence, I always like having large enough internal storage on the iPad to keep my favorite series plus reading list.

Mind, I tend to find the hard plastic cases pretty brittle so I prefer the soft/flexible TPU ones even if they're a bit pricier and heavier.

Here's the one I'm using:

@rui no onna

Is there any 12.9 iPad Pro 2017 Case Cover or separate combination that is not one piece,
but instead 2 detachable pieces:

- Back Cover / Case
- Magnetic Tri Fold like Smart Folio Cover.

If find that the one piece Moko is a pain to use when I just want to just hold it with Back Cover & don't want the Front Flap interfering and gone way.

I could've sworn I saw some earlier but cant find anymore on AMZN or the forum thread.

Sorry. I like the Smart Case/Smart Folio type covers so I didn't really look at separates. I think Khomo might have a back cover only for the 2017.
