Userscripts to fix TenFourFox/IWPPC web compatibility

Hello. As I believe in the philosophy that PowerPC Macs are still sufficient to do most stuff, here I am offering a list of userscripts compatible with TenFourFox/IceWeaselPPC/InterWebPPC/Arctic Fox/...

How to apply userscripts?​

Use Greasemonkey 3.11 (attached in the post, compatible with Firefox 38 ESR and 45 ESR), and then import these userscripts in Greasemonkey.

• Skype (https://web.skype.com) has been fixed to work on UXP browsers too. Download at https://gist.github.com/spetterman66/32e6b8e752fc110e7092ec029f60a6e5 (1 aug '24, first one of 2024 )

Request websites in the comment section that don't work on TenFourFox/IWPPC, and I will try to fix them.

That github one is pretty neat, will have to use that.

You can find some other polyfills at https://github.com/martok/palefill although they're meant for palemoon so might not work on tenfourfox due to different JS version.

Also even if your browser doesn't support ecma21 (null chaining etc.) polyfilling replaceAll, matchAll, flat and flatMap should make a lot of websites semi-usable again.

Talk to @Dronecatcher about this: there may still be a handful of user agent strings, in tandem to your work, which might make video possible on faster G4s and G5s (likely, the multi-processor and/or multi-core models). I wouldn’t expect too much, however, on page formatting. Even on Interweb on Snow Leopard, the page formatting for YT is a mess, bu the video still plays.

New user script has been released for Apple Music. As you can see below, music playback doesn't work, but browsing and searching works fine.

Sadly that wont work with older pre Quantum based browsers as it’s a WebExtension. TFF/IWPPC/PaleMoon/SeaLion/Etc use the older (and better) XUL / XPCOM based extensions.

Anyone having issues signing into eBay using TFF? The Continue button is grayed out and doesn't do anything. It still seems to be working on Leopard WebKit (for now).
