Most of the Apple cases were sold out or pushed back to October on Apple website. I have a peel thin case coming in but that’s not till later too. I have a good 2 weeks window caseless so I am considering various options as well.;)
All the leather and silicone cases for the new Xs series are in stock and appear to be shipping next week. Are you across the pond?

I miss iPod socks. That is all.

LOL and some of these almost match the XR colors.

OP, thanks for a fun thread.

Yes
Since the case I want isn't being offered yet, I've decide to use a sock instead to temporarily store my phone in when going out. It's the only soft thing I can think of that will completely cover the phone.

What do you guys think?
Yes! Lol! This is hilarious

That's too bad.
I have seen some cases on Amazon that are advertised for both the iPhone X and the new iPhone Xs so I was curious.

I've been using a sock instead of a "real" case since the iPhone 3. Works for me! No joke.

I would highly recommend the soft bag that comes with a bottle of Crown Royal.

Yes I also miss those iPod sock cases.

I still use mine, on 2nd gen iPod nanos mostly, but they stretch enough to slide an iPod touch or smaller iPhone into in a pinch, just doesn't quite cover the top half inch or so. Love those things!

the cotton in a sock is probably abrasive and will result in microscratches.

The glass they put on those things now you could skitter one face down across a blue-stone driveway and be hard pressed to prove it, no? I have mightily abused my long suffering SE for a couple years now using just a cheap pop-in soft plastic case (came in a 7-pack of jelly bean colors) with no face film... no problems. I'm the kind absent-minded enough to pop a little fossil encountered on a walk home into my pocket along with the phone, too. A hazard to the gear or else a walking ad for its build quality...

I have ordered a case from Urban Armor Guard. I have loved these cases. They really protect.
