hey, i got one more problem... not all html files are named after the girls, and also i use to have only 10 girls, and now will have 22... so how do i create new html files?
am still too scared to edit any files and screw it up even more...
what is this? html 101? lol :p
to create new files, just copy one and change names, pic names, etc.

no offense, and please don't take this the wrong way, but I can't believe you were brave enough to offer to do this!

the host is where the website lives on the web for people to access it
i keep all my websites on my computer too
make changes on my computer and preview the changes, before I upload anything

which ftp program are you using?
i recommend downloading the whole site to your computer
make the changes there so that you can preview it
then upload only new/changed files

yes, i was incredibly stupid to offer to do this and am way too proud to admit i cant do it, even it means i have to pay someone to do it for me and teach how to do it... lol

whats a ftp program? and how can i download the whole site to my computer?

I like filezilla
search for it and download and install it
(I'd do more of this for you, but I just don't have the time right now, sorry)
(idk how long this thread will continue with just you and i discussing this, but I think others may enjoy reading the progress.)

FTP = File Transfer Protocol. As an alternative to Filezilla a nice FTP program for Mac is Cyberduck. Also, what ever program you were using before when you deleted/uploaded images with is at least a FTP-capable program.

What you should download? I'd grab everything in the html_public folder you mentioned before. That likely holds everything.

filezila intalled

now, what do i fill up in "host" and shall i use my cpanel username and password to download the website?

hostgator has a good interface
and file manipulation is pretty straight-forward
but, unless they have updated their interface, you can't upload/download in batch
so i can see that the OP may have just used that interface instead of any FTP program

sign in to cpanel
and go to ftp accounts
you should be able to determine the user name and password
let me know if you can't figure it out;)
cause i've known people who are in the business that have had problems with this
