Is it just me, or does anyone else enable the Power Save mode even when battery life is high? I am not sure if it actually helps reduce battery drain (I think it does, especially after all the newer updates that chew through battery life faster). I don't see any noticeable drop in performance.

It's basically a quick and dirty way to turn off notifications that are being pushed to the device, turning the screen in, among other things. If you're ok with that, it's a good thing.

If you don't need it then it's pointless.
Does your iPhone die multiple times a day and you can't plug it to an outlet for a little while?
My battery lasts easy a full day so I have no need to keep it on power save mode all day.
And I have a charger available in my car, at work and home so if it gets low I can plug it in for a few.

I use the feature often. Over night if it's 75%+ I'll enable it and leave it off the charger all night. I'll charge it on the way to work, it'll last a day or so and I'll repeat that.... Sometimes if I'm out and know I won't be around a charger for awhile I'll use it then too.

I run my 6s in low-power mode 100% of the time.

The reduced cpu speed is still fast enough for me and the reduced battery wear is a plus.

I have it on quite a lot regardless of need and particularly at home where I get notifications from other devices.

I just do not see a need to do this as my phone seldom comes home with less than 50% on the battery.

Does your battery not last long enough.

I leave it on all the time. (except when i actually need speed)

I dont need the full power of the CPU to write a text message so LPM is fine. Heck even a 3GS has more than enough CPU power for texting

If you can live without automatic iCloud updates and mail push, you should be fine.
