Usually I have more than one phone but for the past 2 1/2 months I've only had an iPhone 5. Tomorrow my Optimus G will be delivered so then I'll use that as my daily driver. I'm interested to see what the Note 3 looks like especially if Samsung can increase the screen size while keeping the overall size pretty much the same like they did with the S4.

You're going to absolutely love the OG. It's a REALLY underrated phone. Mine got great battery life and the screen was gorgeous. Nice choice.

I still can't understand how this phone is so far under the radar. Granted I haven't used one so I don't know first hand but every review I've seen has given it a great review yet if you don't follow forums you wouldn't even know the phone existed. I'm really excited to get my hands on it. Did you use custom roms or stock? Also how does it compare to the S3 and Note 2 in terms of speed, battery life, software features, and stability? Those are my most recent Android phones.

Yeah, it amazes me that it's been such an underrated phone, because I found it to be a beast.

I used the stock ROM (in conjunction with Nova Prime) and just rooted it so I could install some apps that need it (Titanium Backup, adblockers, etc.). As far as speed goes, it's probably the fastest phone I've ever used...fluid, no stutters at all, things just happen instantly. It's MUCH quicker than my S3 was and even a little faster than my Note 2. Battery life, for me anyway, was the really big (pleasant) surprise. I found that it got REALLY good battery life. I usually keep the brightness around 50% and the screen on the OG is the brightest screen I've ever seen. Seriously, at 100% it's insanely bright. I was getting, on average, 4.5-5 hours of screen-on time, which is what I was getting on my rooted stock S3. It's hard to compare it to the Note 2 since the Note has such a huge battery, but I'd say in terms of screen-on time to battery size, it's on par.

One thing I've heard people say is how LG did a nice job with the software and I would agree with that. It's fairly close to stock JB, with just a few tweaks here and there. One of the really nice things you can do right out of the box is the notification toggles...you can actually reorder them and change which ones show up there. I love my Samsung phones, but why they don't implement this, I have no idea. It's a little tricky to find at first, but simply drop down your notification window and slide the icons all the way to the right. Then you'll see an "Edit" button...tap this and you can then change them up. Pretty nice!

Stability-wise I had no problems at all. When I first upgraded it to JB from ICS, I had a couple of weird reboots or freezes, but after JB settled in, I never had another issue. This was in the first couple of days, but like I said, after that, it was flawless.

I really think you'll enjoy it. The size is perfect and the fact that it has LTE and SD card support is a great plus.

*edit* I forgot to add this. I was so impressed by the OG that I'm currently sitting on my upgrade with AT&T to see what the OG2 has to offer. Rumors are, it's going to be a massive phone spec-wise (5.2" screen, Snapdragon 800, 1.9ghz, 13mp camera). It might be out by August, so I'm just going to wait and see, but if it's anything like the OG, I'll probably get it.

BTW, the camera isn't as bad as people make it out to be. While it's not as great as the Note 2 or S3 camera, it does take nice pictures.

Thanks for all the info KentuckyHouse I appreciate it. I'm really glad to hear about the battery life. That was one thing that concerned me. How does group and mms messaging work on it? Is it like the iPhone or do you get 2 notifications for each mms and group text? The last android phone I used was the Nexus 4 and on 4.2.2 it worked like the iPhone and only alerted you once instead of once when you get it and once after it downloads. From what I remember 4.1.2 still alerted you twice but I don't remember for sure. That's been my one gripe about Android. Also how does the speaker sound?

One light, and sleek naked iPhone 5 in my pocket. I'm happy with that setup.

Especially when a few months ago I had an ancient flip phone, a mobile hotspot device, and an iPod Touch in my pocket.

Same here too iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Guess will be three phones when the iPhone 5S Comes out.

I often read in these forums where people use more than 1 phone and it sounds like it's not just a work phone and personal phone. I'm sure I've read posts where people have 3 phones. Just wondering how common this is for people. Do people have multiple lines active at once or they're just using one phone and switching sims when they want to use a different phone?

I have 2 active phones, different numbers, galaxy note2, galaxy s3, both for personal use and one iphone wifi only :)

1. GN2 is my favorite and daily driver
2. GS3 when i feel like a smaller device
3. Iphone 4 when i want to be like the rest
