Just in case anyone's looking for an update: Macbook is at a tech repair service now. Buddy of mine who works there is going to clean it out and make sure everything's operational. He's been keeping me updated as he tears it down, and he says he's not seeing any juice or residue on the internals - it looks like the spill was contained to the keyboard enclosure. Might have to replace the keyboard/top case, just to avoid complications down the line, but it looks like we dodged a bullet. My brother is going to pay for AppleCare in full and is also going to do my dishes for a month, for pain and suffering.

If any poor soul finds this thread in the future, having spilled vape juice on their laptop, here was my strategy: scream (f**k or some variation thereof, if you're committed), IMMEDIATELY power device off, and flip device over so liquid doesn't seep further down. Wipe up as much of the spill as you can, remove keyboard keys to clean underneath them, and use handheld/small vacuum to suck any excess liquid out. Then take it to a repair shop, just to be safe.

Thank you for all the replies and advice - I appreciate you guys. :)

Hello, any update on the issue? I did the same and what I did immediately is to vacuuming it out and hope.
