@booec Same issue here on a 2019 i9 16" MBP. Started happening when I upgraded to 13.5.1 last week and it's been shutting down every time I close the lid, even after only a few seconds. I upgraded to 13.5.2 a couple days ago but that hasn't helped.

It's not fully shutting down though, like when I first open it after sleep the trackpad will still have haptic feedback despite the screen being black. I then need to hold the power button until it restarts so I can get the screen working.

I also normally use an external monitor, but this is happening whether it's connected or not. Resetting SMC also did nothing. Hoping it's fixed in an update soon, will update if I find a solution before then.

@AustinE99
My MBP was issued by the company where I work, so I managed to just replace it with a similar one. On a new, I don't upgrade above 13.4 and everything is ok. I think you can try to roll back the version to 13.4, if this is possible on MacOS.

This problem (after sleep it is showing error message and rebooting) appeared to my i7 MBP "16 2019 with Ventura 13.5.1 about 2-3 days ago. Everything worked fine before that. I am not sure but maybe I've updated OS at those days and got bug after that. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Facing the same issue

Hey, I had a similar issue on my 2018 MBP (Intel Core i7) back sometime ago while running Mac OS Big Sur 11.X, where when connected to my ThunderBolt 3 dock, connected to an external display my Mac started unexpectedly restarting while attempting to wake from sleep. I updated to the latest version of Mac OS Big Sur at the time, although my issue persisted. Although I did notice once disconnected from my TBT dock my Mac would wake from sleep, although it would take quite a while to wake, my Touch ID was disabled and it would hang/freeze. I reset the SMC and NVRAM although my issue persisted. I reinstalled Mac OS (without erasing), that still did not work. Although eventually I found a resolution, it was a firmware issue, I performed a revive of the firmware to the T2 controller and it resolved all of my problems. I needed to download Apple Configurator on another Mac from the App Store, connect both Macs via ThunderBolt, place my 2018 MBP in DFU Mode and Revive the Firmware. Since performing this my similar issue has been resolved and hasn't replicated.
