iPad Verizon IPad Pro Preorder

I have Verizon and still debating whether to get the 12.9 pro 256 gb. Has a back order of July 27th but I can wait because I have the 2018 iPad Pro which is flawless for my uses. Really waiting for the impression from reviewers on YouTube hopefully tomorrow.
 
Well I had a little change. It now says "we're preparing your order"(from "processing your order") and "delivery date will be updated soon(from "ships May 24th")". I interpret that as the next step and it will be shipping soon...I'm hopeful that's what it means *insert nervous laugh*

We should see them ship tomorrow with 2 day shipping to receive them Friday if its like the phone launches.
 
Mine also mentioned that today, I actually was looking to see if anyone else said the same thing. Fingers crossed we get some sort of new tomorrow!
 
I am going on vacation for ten days on 05/25. I am getting nervous. What should I do if it doesn’t ship until 05/24? It would not give me the option for one day shipping at checkout.
 
Finally decided to order the 256 gb space grey 12.9. Backordered till July 13th for me. I’m fine with that. Have the 2018 pro either way. I was thinking bout getting the 512gb but needed to put a downpayment for that and didn’t really want to and i think the 512 is overkill for me as on my 2018 i have only used 49 of 256 lol. I was initially going to trade my 2018 for the 2021 but my gf wants it so that’s a plus too because she did want the iPad Air a while back. Now shell have a iPad Pro. It stays in the family too. Hopefully it comes before July but if not that’s ok.

I found out I ordered the Silver 256 gig but wanted the Space Gray. Is the only alternative is to cancel and reorder? I don’t to wait until Jul or August to get it.

yeah it sucks. I’ll just throw a cover on it and forgot about it. This is my THIRD time ordering the wrong color from Apple lol.

Also, my order status doesn’t say “backorder” anymore. It now says “preparing” to ship soon.

What was ur original date before preparing to ship
 
Just got a text message from Verizon regarding my plan. So I decided to check the status of my order and it says shipped so hopefully you guys start receiving your notifications as well!

My 12.9 inch Space Gray 512gb has shipped and it says it will be here tomorrow. Waiting on my 11” Space Gray 512gb to ship now.

iPads have shipped. Says they will be here tomorrow. Im wondering if that will still be the case since they shipped today instead of yesterday and it only let me select two day shipping at checkout.

When I’ve preordered it always was shipped just the day before
