They just told me they couldn't do it. And BB lied to me telling me the 4GB promo would work on the iPad.

Little pissed right now.

It shows up under the selection on my ipad when I had it for a choice of which plans.

Chicago people - please speak up - which has faster LTE in downtown Chicago? Verizon or AT&T?

My co-worker who lives on the south side gets around 10-15mbps on AT&T LTE. I'm on the north side and get between 15-30mbps on Verizon LTE.

I have Verizon LTE 32GB Black located in Atlanta, GA

Speed test result:
Type: LTE
Download: 20.65 Mbps
Upload: 10.86 Mbps
Ping: 88 ms

Not bad! My WiFi: D/L 16.36, U/L 3.75

Had the 64GB Verizon and just returned today for 64GB AT&T. Not in an LTE area for either in NJ but AT&T HSPA+ is SO much faster than Verizon 3G. It's 7 to 10 down where Verizon is 1.5 down at best on my speed tests. I know this because I put an AT&T card in the VZW iPad that I had. I just decided to swap it out because I didn't want to go back and forth switching sim cards and if I need hotspot feature I can always use my phone for that. Further, I'll have an upgrade on my phone in July. I'm guessing new iPhone will come sometime after that so I'll have Verizon 4G LTE on my phone too with an unlimited plan. Best of both worlds as some have said.

If you have no LTE from either carrier in your area, the obvious choice is AT&T....

I have LTE from both carriers in my area and it seems to be a wash.

Check out the differences in speeds, and look at the bars

The bottom two are VZ LTE speeds are on 1 ba, with the closest LTE tower about 5 miles away.

Those speeds are on 3g?

Some are on 3G VZ the bottom two are 1 bar LTE.

The AT&T are all 4 bar HSPA+ faux 4G. Just goes to show that people shouldn't fall for the it's technically faster (HSPA+) and have to consider the overall end-to-end experience.

The EVDO was actually faster and on less bars.

Looks like Rogers (Canada) may be the only one today.

Good point. I don't go to Canada that often, so I'm not really that hurt by using the Verizon model. I guess next year we'll have to see how LTE plays out in other countries, and how much Apple can fit into one iPad.

I ended up getting the Verizon model, and I am very pleased at the speeds.
I'm glad I ended up getting the 5gb plan. And I am using the tethering all the time.
