Of course an update comes out the day I delete the app. After the reinstall and setup, one call dropped @ 17s, the second dropped @ 13s, two more wouldn't even connect. I also tried the airplane mode workaround, no connections. Redeleted.

Yep. In addition to having a terrible user interface, it just plain doesn't work reliably, and there doesn't seem to be any way to make it work reliably. For me, It's back to using the network extender for calls at home. The network extender isn't reliable either, but at least it mostly fails when attempting to make calls, and not in the middle of them.

I don't have an issue with either wifi calling or the network extender. It has to be something in your setup that has issues.

The network extender usually works fine, but about once a month it needs to be rebooted or it starts doing weird things - I'll make calls and I will just get a recording from Verizon saying the call couldn't be completed.

Well, sure there's quite a bit to it, but if AT&T was able to do get it done it seems that Verizon should have been there at least around similar timing. The whole part about waiting and seeing if this would hurt their business and by how much seems to have been playing quite a bit of a role in it, and that's unfortunate as that doesn't deal with any actual work that needs to be done or anything like that, but just wasted time. I get why from a company point of view they would want to take that approach, but they likely should have known better at an earlier time in that process.
