Why would someone pay money to buy something they know in advance that they won't receive, from a seller they know in advance is a scammer?
Because I was wondering whether or not it's stolen or a crappy hackintosh in a fake MacBook case

Someone with lots of spare time and a bit of disposable money who doesn't mind getting caught up in a long drawn out dispute. Obviously someone with not enough things to do. Seriously, if you're at the point where you're doing this on a whim, why not go read a book, draw a picture, or go volunteer somewhere near your street?
