Vibrate?

I don't know what all this convergence crap is. Why do people need one device that does sixty things? If you want to talk, get a phone. If you're horny, get a vibrator. Why does your phone need to vibrate?

Seriously, they better. I understand where all the tension that it might not have vibrate is coming from, but that would be insane.....

calm down, mr fanboy. i use vibrate a lot on my phone. sometimes i dont want it to ring when i am somewhere that ringing will get me in trouble. silent is useless anyway.

That'd be nice to know, but it's not a deal-breaker for me personally. I'm sure someone will figure out a way to hack that in, if it doesn't come like that, honestly. We've all seen what's happened with the AppleTV, and this will be MUCH more directly accessible.

I wouldn't say that it will be hacked for sure. I have a sidekick 3 and it is impossible to hack and the only way of getting any ringtones on it is if you buy them from this tmobile catalog. If the makers of the sidekick 3 can do it then apple definitely can.

One time I had my cell phone on vibrate, but it must've been touching the hollow, metal, desk. I got a text and it vibrated the whole desk. So yeah, silent can be useful.
