I have an old Mac Pro tower that is maxed out to High Sierra and I’m looking to put video editing software on it. What would be compatible with it?
I don’t want to have my old pro go to waste just because the OS is dated.
ATI Radeon 1gb, 32gb ram, 6 core Xeon, OS 10.13.6

If you upgrade the GPU to a Metal-supported model such as the RX 5700 XT or RX 580, you'll be able to get far better performance, and the ability to run newer software. Just a recommendation. The 5770 is a very old, slow card.

DaVinci Resolve 16 is the last version to support non-Metal GPUs, and the last version to support High Sierra, so I'd try that. You'll have to go to this page and scroll down till you see the 16.2.8 update on the left, under "Latest Downloads."
