I did this on my white MacBook last year, but that was A LOT of work due to removing the LCD display to apply the rainbow insert. This time http://www.icolours.ca offers transparent stickers that nearly fits over the Apple logo which makes it A LOT eaiser to apply. It looks GREAT and took no time to do. I ordered 3 stickers incase I screw it up, but I didn't. I use a Speck case to protect the Air and keeps it looking NEW, I recommend it to everyone. I did it at my desk at work. The pictures are taken with my iPhone.

Wow, really cool, and only $5!

edit: just saw all the other designs, and these are really sweet (especially the blue flame). Thanks for sharing!

-Ah the other designs require the laptop to be taken apart. The original sticker still looks great though

The stickers looks better in person. The inserts that goes behind the logo looks more washed out than the stickers.

Here is a photo with the backlight display off.

Aahhh I love that site. Means your computer looks slightly different. Seems they've started doing the stickers because of the new unibody design (means you can't take the back off) Good to know the stickers don't look tacky or anything.

I've got an iBook with a pink apple :) Was thinking about changing the insert (it's a 5 minute job on an iBook) The retro one looks pretty nice there but I'd be worried about setting it squint. Plus my boyfriend would never stop teasing me for being a mac geek.

I love the Apple logo. It looks like it was made that way. However, I cannot stand the Speck case. It makes your MBA look like a WhiteBook in the photo. I originally thought it was a WhiteBook especially when you mentioned it.

I guess I want my Air to look Commando!

I think the shiny aluminum looks great, especially with the rainbow apple.

Here's one on my white MacBook. That was a lot of work because it was placed on the back.

Haha, this is my cousin's "business"

Pretty funny for me every time it shows up here on MR!

Didn't realize he had sticker options now... they look nicer than I thought they would.
