Virtual PC performance?

I, too, tried to install my own XP Pro to the DOS version of VPC 6.0. It was a nightmare. Although I finally got it to work, it was never really quite right, if there is such a thing. I returned it and bought the VPC 6.0 with XP. They will not support your own installation to the DOS version. You can get into that "one foot on the dock and one foot on the boat" place with the Dark empire and Connectix each saying it's the other;s issue. It is probably a better idea to get a second job at McDonald's as far as the value of your time is concerned and saving any money using your own version of windoze.
