I'm glad sarcasm isn't dead in the US.

Vista just has an eye candy theme that i got sick of after a while. this is why many businesses stick to XP.

Oh the irony.

People said the SAME EXACT thing about XP when Win2K/98 was popular, "XP is just a bunch of eye candy, it's a big paint job for Win2K." But I'm sure it's totally different this time.

Seems like you would know ;)

What' that supposed to mean?

Oh, please! Comments like this get so cheap after a while. Somebody on a Mac forum can't like the way Vista looks? You seriously can not understand why anybody would like how Windows looks, works or behaves? A Mac, the operating system (Mac OS X) included, is not the be all end all for all people. Some people actually like Windows better than Mac OS X. It happens. If you don't believe or can't comprehend that fact, don't visit this part of Mac Forums. People like that are more likely to show themselves here.

Besides, I'm not sure who's more likely to be a troll: a person asking a pro-Windows-biased question on a Mac forum, or the person immediately calling that person a troll. Your call...

Please point out where I said people couldn't like Windows. Go on, I'd love to see where you got that.

I can completely understand why someone would like the way Vista looks. I like the way Vista looks. I said troll because it was obvious it would get a bunch of your panties in a bunch by even mentioning the thought of Vista-izing OS X.

For the record, I post in 'Windows on a Mac' more than any other section of this forum, and my posts are always regarding helping someone with their Windows related question. So instead of making assumptions and putting words in people's mouths, next time think before you speak.

You have a mac... your GUI is superior. Throw a new wallpaper on,
I prefer Homer grabbing the Apple logo/donut, and call it good!

Why you would want to downgrade to vista's looks.. is beyond meh.
What's next? You want to implement the cat throw up looking control
panel from Windows?
;)
