I have installed as a VM in Fusion 6, its really laggy.

Not surprising though its good news that it seems to run. Yosemite needs to be tuned for performance (beta 1 after all) and most likely Vmware needs to update Fusion.

Don't worry folks, VMware will (to be certain) release an upgrade to VM7 this year, and charge us all another $80. :p

I personally passed on 6, still running 5. Hope I can continue to do so, been using VM for years, but this upgrade paths are getting expensive-

vmware fusion 6.0.4 works with DP3 Yosemite.

Just go to the vmware website and upgrade to 6.0.4 (available 01/07/2014) and I can confirm it works just fine. I have booted up an ubuntu image I had with no issues.

I can confirm this. Running Win7 64 bit with no problems on 6.0.4 in DP3

Hi, if you are referring to the VM image running in Fusion then No. I can't replicate it and have no issues with the internet connection.

Perhaps try creating a new image and boot that up and test.
