Voicemail Transcription

I've read that voicemail transcription is enabled in IOS 10 Beta 2 for those that have visual voicemail. I have a 6S Plus, and it's not working for me. I've even just recorded a new test voicemail in case the older ones wouldn't transcribe. Anyone have any luck?

There's been a lot of discussion about this in the mega-Beta 2 thread. Its working for some, not for others. No one can figure out what the differentiator is. I know that doesn't help much, but at least you know you're not alone!

Have any fellow Canadians gotten the transcribed voicemails to work? I'm on Rogers. Tested and doesn't seem to work.

It appears to be a feature that's being rolled out slowly and to select users. Can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it. Hopefully, we all get it soon; I hate listening to voicemails.

We only have one carrier in the UK that provides visual voicemail, which is incredible at this point. I have to use an app called HulloMail which does a decent job, and has provided transcribed message for years, but that comes at a price. Maybe someday the rest will follow up on this, rather than making us call a mailbox

You have to subscribe to visual voicemail or voice to text from your carrier for this to work.

I have ATT and it works. Just tried it. Love it to be honest. I don't have to listen to voicemails anymore. Haha

For me Rogers isn't. Would like to know if anyone else on Rogers has gotten it to work or even with Telus or Bell?

I have verizon no settings changes and it works for me. Just make sure the voicemail is after you upgraded as the older ones won't.

they are older voicemails. so thats the issue then i guess. thanks!!
