Just installed NordVPN and it all seems fine but then it asks for a VPN Connection Password which has thrown me completely and it just keeps asking till I remove the Nord Connection in the Preferences Network Panel - I have mailed them but anyone here any ideas what that could be ?

Yes I did but funny enough when I checked my bank account they hadnt taken the money so perhaps something odd there is causing the issue ... Lets see what they say...Also just installed the app on my iPhone and ran fine so odder and odder..

Well that was annoying - after using Nord for a few weeks and all seemed ok I noticed that Transmission was showing port closed and my torrents werent seeding correctly - just spoke to their online rep and he says they dont support port forwarding :( Off to PIA now I reckon as I see they explicitly do and very good reviews.

Transmission works without port forwarding. Without it you will be in passive mode. You can connect to other clients that are in active mode (ie clients which do have their port open), but not those in passive mode. This means you will have a smaller pool of potential clients but it should still work.

Mullvad does port forwarding too (up to five randomly selected ports).

I think VPN is the most fantastic thing to happen god knows what would have I done if VPN would have not been around. A lot of stuff that I access on the Internet is accessible only because of VPN.

Canned Nord and went with PrivateInternetAccess - all works perfectly with normal browsing and P2P with port forwarding with hardly any speed reduction - great result
