And what does that mean exactly?

Dear Lou,

Professional? Review?
It was a joke, right? (google "cpuboss bias")

Find one non-OC'ed single X5690 18k pts Geekbench score and post it here. Good luck :D

I know...I was being ..you know well what I meant:rolleyes:

But there is a difference between W and X Xeon series, even though they are clocked at the same speed, trust me:p

^^^^OK, I responded to your PM. Your comment about my posts being incorrect is totally false and without merit. You need educating young man.

True, but in case of cpuboss and other crappy sites like this it's matter of inaccuracy. Since when W3690 supports 24GB RAM only? They don't care enough to publish accurate data. Most likely they took some OC'ed 5690 score and compared it to stock clocked 3690.

They're publishing what the manufacturer publishes. The W3690 spec page states 24GB RAM limit (which is clearly incorrect). How is that the fault of cpuboss?

Sites like this one don't actually test anything themself. Just collecting the data from other sources (not always reflecting the reality). It isn't "professional" and thrusthworty thus their "18k" 32-bit GB single 5690 score isn't worth anything as well. People need to be skeptical when comes to rely on such comparison sites, that's all.
