Maybe Apple wants developers to make drivers using the new Metal, and that’s why they removed the API called IOHID?
It may well be so related to the introduction of Metal, but not in the way you described.

Did anybody have the chance to test their Wacom in DP3 yet?
Thanks a lot. I didn’t use a mouse for 13 years but did not want to downgrade just for the Wacom. Looking forward holding a pen againA friend of mine just tested it and IT WORKS! The latest Intuos Wacom drivers are working with DP3. I am upgrading now and will let you know.
sudo nvram boot-args=kext-dev-mode=1
Great news!I just updated to DP3 and it works again. So it is with Illustrator CC2K15
Just out of curiosity, did y'all have the drivers previously installed (from Beta 2, etc.) or was it a fresh install of the Wacom drivers on Beta 3?
Yes. No problem. Anyway, there is an update in wacom websiteDo the wacom divers work on DP4?
Thx!
6.3.11-3 here.. I thought I was on the latest! I'm reluctant to update it now and see if the latest version works.. Should I risk it? Hmm.
Weird, for me every time I install an update I have to switch the display, and sometimes recalibrate, but its been fine outside of DP2..Just downloaded 6.3.11-3, and it's still not working for me.
...
also tried my other Macbook Air, which has 6.3.11-3, and the Cintiq is also not working there, either.

I just updated to the latest version and it's still working.. I wonder if there's a conflict on your system? To get earlier DPs to boot at all i had to delete some ancient unsupported .kexts 9in my case to do with old usb webcams), maybe its a more specific version of that?
So weird.. Still working in the latest OS X here.. About the only difference I can think of between our macs is mine predates usb3? Do you have anything installed on both your macs that might be causing conflicts? Bettertouchtool or something? Or old legacy Kexts like I used to have.Lil update:
Unsurprisingly, the new El Cap beta didn't make my tablet suddenly start working.
Then I got scared that maybe the tablet was broken, so I reverted my Air back to Yosemite and it's working again. So it does seem to be an issue with El Cap + my machines + the drivers.
