Hi guys,

first post here and first time in my life when I'm thinking to buy a mac.

Don't know much about the mac os x releases, but where there problems when Tiger released? For a newbie, is it better to buy tiger now or wait for Leopard?

I'm not in a hurry to buy one, but vista gives me a lot of headache.

ps: I'm sorry if my English isn't great, but I'm a dutch speaker and I'm not so proud about my language skills :)

here's an idea: if you don't need it now, wait! Original eh!

My plan: Always buy right after an update, that way you'll never be caught with an upgrade right after you bought something

Hi, welcome.

My wife doesn't need a new computer right now, so i'm waiting to buy her a mbp when they are updated with leopard. It's an absolute: os upgrades break some people's systems. I don't mean the os upgrade destroys their machine or data, but many people have small problems, some people have bigger problems. Being new to mac os, I really don't want any problems when I upgrade it. Hence i'm waiting until leopard comes on the machine.

and your english is fine, it's better than a lot of people here :p

there are rules to buying computers?

Yes, let me know your address, when the alarms will be off, and leave the doors unlocked every time you get a spiffy new machine.

I'll be glad to burn in the machine for you. :p
