also...

I'm a bit new at this, so it's taken me a looooooong time to get a decent rip. Here's a few notes so no one has to do the same.
When I upgraded my VLC (to 1.0.2) i went for the Intel 64 bit option, which worked fine, but when I opened HB the video was scrambled (which had not been the case in 0.9.8). I went back and got the Intel 32 bit version and the video was unscrambled. I don't know why this was the case, but I'd reccommend just getting the 32 bit one.
Also, on my copy of the DVD the correct title to rip was title 53 not 30. This is probably due to it being a different countries release. So it pays to check in DVD player as posted above.

20 hrs of ripping later.... I should have come here first

Adventureland

Hello i just wanted to add that, i have bought adventureland and wanted to put it on my ipod. I used handbrake and all of the chapters were jumbled the credits were in the middle of the movie and all the chapters have been rearranged. I read this thread and decided to first try ripit and it worked kinda strange i don't understand it fully as in why it scrambles the chapters but this worked for me and hopefully this post will help others
