If you have an iPad, get the free Logic Remote app. It works with GarageBand too. This way your iPad can be your instrument/mixer/effect tweak UI while your MBP handles the tracking / editing UI. If you get the touchbar MBP, GB will turn the touchbar into a piano keyboard, or drum kit, etc. you’re gonna have a blast!

nice!! I don't have an iPad, (I've tried Garageband on it at a local store and it was super fun!) but I'm getting the touch bar model!
