This, 1000X. I have not heard a single complaint about iOS7 that could not be addressed with jailbreak tweaks/themes. I mean, I bet you an entire iOS6 theme will be made within a month. Add in some speed tweaks and you have iOS6 all over again.
What a shame.
Just curious. I know Winterboard is reported working. But you got any black themes and black icon sets that'll work with iOS 7?
I ask because that's what I have going on my iOS 6.1 iPhone 5 (jailbroken). Themeing away the iOS 7 look will be one of the first things I do when I upgrade and jailbreak. But I'm not willing to wait for it when I've got it already on iOS 6. Which, by the way, I've themed away with the black/grayscale combination I prefer. So, a complete iOS 6 theme isn't going to do it for me when I've tried hard to get rid of it IN iOS 6! Hey, is LivePapers working on iOS 7 yet?
As for tweaks, well…iOS 7 has call blocking. I took care of that a long time ago. Control Center? I've got NCSettings for Notification Center with a bunch of other tweaks that let me do various things. Luna already covers me for DND when my iPhone is locked.
AirDrop? Covered with an app. Not that I need it. Netatalk lets me load my iPhone as a network share and iFile works with Dropbox. Quick Reply, Quick Compose? BiteSMS, still working in iOS 6. MailEnhancer Pro (rules for the Mail app)? Five column springboard? Not on iOS 7 - yet.
Shrink? Not yet. I could go on, but I think I make my point. Not a lot of this stuff is working on iOS 7. Sure. It'll get updated over time. But I'm comfortable where I am now using all the stuff I have that gives me the same if not better than iOS 7 AND looks the way I want it.
When Mobile Substrate gets updated I'll move and jailbreak. If I were stock on iOS 7, I'd jailbreak. But I see no reason to experience iOS 7 right now when many of the 40+ tweaks or so I use right now would not be working and there is no guarantee I can replicate the interface like I have it now. And again, no. I don't want an iOS 6 theme.
Some of us are waiting because we don't feel like being inconvenienced right now. If that means I lose out on the iOS 7 jailbreak – so be it. I've got everything I need right now and it's all working.
