I can confirm that it works, but somehow I can't bring myself to actually play MP 3 now... just another round of Faster Than Light and then we'll see...

Thank you for contacting R* Support. We've received several reports of incompatibility issues with Max Payne 3 and OS X Mavericks. We're currently investigating these reports, but don't have any additional information at this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Happily it is working in bootcamp

Thanks for the info. Hope they fix whatever the problem is. I hate rebooting and haven't gotten around to this game yet. It can keep waiting too. I'm not in a rush.

see on most games that would keep me happy, just fire up bootcamp, download 3 or5 or even 10 gigs and play it....but having just dumped 28 gigs the night before last on the mac version, im hesitant to download another 28 gigs tonight....

This is now resolved. Steam did an update and mp 3 now works hurrah !

Played a while on it and yes it works ok
