Was Your MBP Shipped on NOV. 2???

i live in los angeles, my mbp was shipped on 10/30, received on 11/1.

total time 2 days from china once given to fedex. once it hit AK, it was the next day.

hope this info helps predict your times.

Made it home for lunch, and I'm installing my apps on it now...

its SOOOO nice!!! I'm extremely happy with the matte display!!!

Shipped on 11/1 and delivered the next day.. Can't beat that!
 
Mine was delivered to my campus apartment office at 930AM. I actually saw the fedex truck driving away and I knew it was here. Now I just have to wait for the package slip for pickup. They give me too much lip without the package slip so I'll wait till mail is delivered.

Needless to say, I'm too excited...

OMG... this thing is SOOOO freakin sweet GAHH.... *cries tears of happyness* I'm going through the reinstalation process right now... stripping out unwanted languages/printer drivers etc.

I've been taking comparison pics/unpacking pics etc. I'll post them up here when i'm all done... most likely later tonight.

Delighted for you guys and all to jealous at the same time.Count yourselves lucky your really being looked after in America and Canada by Apple.
Wish i was as fortunate as you.

Apple don't seem to want to look after us here in Dublin at all as well as you guys. I ordered my 17" MBP within 30 minutes of the update on the 24th of October and my order is still "not yet shipped" hasn't changed in 11 days.

And get this: estimated shipping date is 7th of November and
estimated delivery date is 21st of November.

A full two weeks from the date the order was placed and paid for.

I just really hope it gets to Ireland in one day from China too don't think ill be as lucky though. Mine has to stop off in the Uk for some reason before its shipped to Ireland.

Best of luck with them anyway.
 
shipped on nov 1st, and expected delivery nov 6th.... What the heck happened to my 2 DAY SHIPPING?!?!?!?

At local FedEx facility

if its at my local facility, can i go there and pick it up myself, since it wont go out for delivery till monday ?

According to GraceMalloy, who worked at FedEx while in college, it's worth a shot to go there and try to pick it up.
 
sometimes it's still on the truck and not actually in the warehouse (where a quick scan will tell them EXACTLY where it is).

If it's on the truck you're **** out of luck. If it's in the warehouse, don't take No for an answer.

Nothing to do with being in Ireland. Nobody has a new 17" MBP anywhere. They won't be shipping until next week at the earliest.

If it was on a truck that would have been OK, because they come back to the delivery center in the end. But mine is apperantly at the airport in a container with other packages and FedEx rep. said they will sort them out on Monday. Until then no MBP for me :(
