Good news , no problem last night ! So I guess it's probably my usb c puck that is the culprit . The crazy thing is that it all happened after WOS 11 . Coincidence ??? Your guess is as good as mine ...

 is calling me back next tuesday . One thing is sure , they take things seriously 👍🏻
I had a bug with a private email (@mydomain.com) that refused to work on my phone.after iOS 18. After doing everything I could think of I finally called CS in my country , they couldn't help . The next day I got a call from a senior adviser in the US . Huge hat tip !
All the charging cables from your old Apple Watch, ⌚️ the Anker MagSafe foldable stand and a non MagSafe 3in1 Apple Watch and iPhone stand worked, so glad that these are all ruled out! Problem solved, Apple Watch pal!

It is likely that the cable that came with your Apple Watch Series 7 itself may be faulty and should not be used again. I would recommend still keeping it especially that AppleCare will be following up with your Apple Watch charging issues next week, and even with your third party accessories still working it is mysterious that an Apple Watch would have a hardware problem in itself that it can still work with your other chargers including third party docks.

Did the senior advisor of AppleCare ask you about how long this has happened? Were you beta testing watchOS 11 all summer or just started out with the public release recently?

I don't do betas ... too scared guess 😂

When I was on the phone with the AC guy it lasted a very long time , he asked me loads of questions and was very thorough . Good thing I speak english and all my devices are turned to english , I don't think he spoked french 😉

Oh and thank you for the advice to keep the cable , I was about to throw it out .

Indeed, that is exactly how I ask you to try different cables, clean the back of your Apple Watch Series 7 by wiping it down with a cloth and checking if the back is damaged in any way. Having the AppleCare senior advisor call you about your issue is the right thing to do as they know all the ins and outs of hardware/software issues across all Apple devices. If they see that the ceramic back housing the heart rate sensor is broken they would ask you to get the Apple Watch checked out at an Apple Store. But it’s still in good condition, and all the cables had been tested, so when they call back next week tell us and be grateful for our MacRumors netizens for helping out.

I am also glad that you also are bilingual in English and French so you were able to contact AppleCare in the USA 🇺🇸 as well.

If y’all are wondering what MagSafe Anker dock @Yptcn is using, it is popular in Amazon alongside the MagSafe cube by Anker. Compact dock for wireless charging AirPods, MagSafe for iPhone and an integrated Apple Watch charger: https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-A...&sr=8-7#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div

It is MFi certified for all your Apple products. Also for the OP, just curious but does your iPhone plan have international calling/roaming? If you are comfortable sharing about it tho as you called the AppleCare phone line in the states.

Sure , I'm with Orange France . All calls to the EU are in my plan include cell and land lines , same for the USA and Canada ( cell and land lines are considered the same ). Roaming in Europe , Switzerland and Andorra.

In a couple of weeks I'll be in NY and for that I have to take a pass so I can be called & call in the country . All SMS are included and 10 GO of internet for a month . As I will not be there for a month I can use that plan without having to be careful .

I didn't call AC in the USA , they called me probably after hearing from AC on this side of the herring pond ;-))

Understandable. I hope you update us once  calls back. Are you willing to use an eSIM on your iPhone when you get to the US? Your iPhone can get one alongside the physical sim.

No , I’m fine with the French pass. But it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t try it elsewhere if needed.

They did but I was on a call and messed up wanting to take their call and hanged up on everyone 🤪...
? Did they leave a voicemail for you? One time they did when they tried to call me about an AirPods issue I brought up thru feedback assistant in iOS 15, and they even emailed me.
